It is not uncommon for a lab with multiple pathologists where several sign out only a few reports per month, while others sign out a few hundred. With these individuals in mind, WebPathLab has now created an option where you can pay per report.
Control your IT cost. You only pay when you sign out a report. The fee covers maintenance, tech support and free upgrades as they become available.
WebPathLab's monthly fees are based on the number of pathologists signing out cases. You can have as many ancillary users such as transcriptionists, grossers, histotechs, billers, etc. and you only pay for the pathologists.
With the Pay-Per-Report only option, you pay no monthly fees until you signout a report. This fee varies for each of the 4 WPL solutions offered. (see chart below)
WebPathLab has also created a Pay-Per-Report plus fee for those who are signing out more than just a few cases and wish to pay less per report. There is also the unlimited report option that is currently available.

4. Fee is per Pathologist only, there is no fee for ancillary users; 5. Promotional is for the first 12 months.
EXAMPLE for WPL STANDARD:
- If a pathologist only signs out 30 reports a month, he/she can select to pay-per-report only option and the fee would be $52.50
- If the volume increases to 90 reports, with the pay-per-report only option the cost would be $157.50 With a monthly fee of $100, the cost per report is lowered by $0.50 and with 80 free reports (Promotional) the fee is $12.50 + $100 = $112.50 a 29% savings over the pay-per-report only option
- If the volume increases to 500 reports, the best choice is the unlimited fee of $250.
