Upload All Images and Attach to the Reports in 2 Steps

A time consuming task is one where every image you take from a slide, or file you receive from a reference lab has to be individually attached to each report.  WebPathLab has developed the "Full Folder Upload" module where you can upload all these files and attach them to their respective case in a 2-step operation (3 steps if you count a cup of coffee).

An example of this would be where the pathologist takes mulitple images of multiple slides and saves them to a folder on a local drive without spending time attaching them to the specific report.  As reference reports and other non-medical documents arrive, they too can be saved to the same folder on the local drive.  At certain times of the day, the folder, and/or subfolders can be selected and uploaded to the WebPathLab application, and all the images will automatically be attached to the respective report and their respective category. The image on the right lists some of the file categories availible within WebPathLab.

 These images can be:

  • Photomicrographs
  • Scanned documents such as reference reports
  • Insurance, legal or other informative documents tha will not appear on the report but be attached to the case
  • MP3 or wav files from a dictation system
  • etc

The upload process is very simple.

  1. Full File Uploader - Anatomic Pathology Software1.  You simply select the folder that contains the files to be uploaded,

2.  Right mouse click and click on "Upload" and all the files are uploaded and attached to the respective case.
