No more need to spend time going through books to find the right ICD9 Code. WebPathLab's new Natural Search Algorithm allows you to just type in the natural phrase and the ICD9 tool will provide you with options even if you misspelled the words.
In the same below the user enters the letter "pai" and the system displays several options that contain those 3 letters.

The user rather than selecting one of the displayed choices, enters the word pain and hits the return key. The system displays many clinical indication decriptions containing the word pain. The user can further filter the results by typing the word "throat" in the iDesc field, and select the filter that will show only those items that contain the word "throat" of all the ones currently being displayed.

The system returns the clinical description of "Throat Pain" with and ICD9 of 784.1 which can now be selected and attached to that case's CMS 1500 form.
