As you log in, WebPathLab immediately recognizes who you are and directs you to your respective "Landing Page". 

As a pathologist, you go to the pathologist landing page featuring only the cases assigned to you; as a transcriptionist, you are directed to the transcription page where selection of the cases to transcribe can be made; as an accessioner, you have limited access only to accession cases, and so on. This process optimizes the time spent searching for the respective area every time the user logs in. 

It is all about improving efficiency.  WebPathLab optimizes it by directing the user to their respective landing page upon login. No need to find your way to your area everytime you log in.

Once the pathologist logs into the system, the dashboard displays critical details of all the current cases assigned to them requiring their attention such as:

• Case Type - is the case a surgical, autopsy, consult, cytology, etc.
• Case Status - was the case just accessioned, or is it ready for review, transcription, signout,  etc.
• History - Are there previous cases assigned to this patient
• Private Note - Is there a "note to self" regarding this case

It also provides access to critical areas with only One Click.

• History - The system will show all the past history for that patient if there is any
• Batch Sign Out - All the cases ready for signout are accessible with one click
• Home Link - No matter where you are on the site, you can get back to your landing page with one click of the mouse
• Search Filters - Comprehensive search filters are provided to easily find a case
