The Working Draft report displays current case gross description along with the final diagnosis of all previous cases for that individual. No need to search for the patient's previous cases and view each record one at a time. This report can be configured to your requirements
This link is created during the quick accession process. When entering the patient's birthday, the system will automatically display all cases with the same birthdate allowing for a fast and easy link. Additional information is displayed, such as name, social security numbers, etc in order to validate the match.
In the sample below, the user has entered the patient's name as Park Canoga, and upon entering the birhtday of 3/3/1933, the system brings up all matches using that birthday along with their names and social security number. The default is set to "no match" but the accessioner can make the proper selection. In this sample, the user simply selects Park Canoga from the list and the demographic information is instantly mapped unto the new accession number and the cases are linked. When the pathologist sees the case on their landing page, the accession numbe will have the letters "Hist" next to the accession number. Clicking on the "Hist" link will bring up the Working Draft Report.
The Working Draft reports are for internal use only and can also be batch printed if required. When printing in batch mode, they are automatically sorted out by pathologist.
